Cerco l'estate tutto l'anno E all'improvviso eccola qua Azzurro (about which I wrote this free post last year, including full lyrics in Italian and English) is the ultimate Italian summer song. This year it’s taken a little longer to get going but now it’s July and sweltering, and the skies are that simply impossibly
I'm late to this (somehow missed this post) but thought I'd reply anyway! You can take a tour of Sant' Agnese, the grounds around it, the catacombs, and Santa Costanza for 10 Euros. Definitely worth it. You do need to book ahead, though, by going to the Sant' Agnese website. There's hardly ever anyone there.
Walking through quartiere Coppedè these days is so tranquil!! Nothing like an outdoor chandelier and a walk to Marziali for a caffè with tons of panna & cacao!
Wow, Santa Costanza! On my list now... 🙂

Your photos are always so beautiful. These are some of my favourite places in Rome🥰
How did you manage to get so much light in Santa Costanza?!
Thanks! It was the right time of day and I put a euro in the box to turn the lights on!
Thanks so much for sharing! Beautiful photos.
Thank you!
That photo of San Giorgio Velabro is simply exquisite 😍

I was today years old, as the kids say, when I found out that La Rinascente has a piece on an aqueduct in it. Cool! Thanks Agnes!
