As those of you who follow me on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook may have noticed I have recently been in Sicily. I was persuaded by a delightfully insistent long-standing client to talk to folk about Norman-Arab architecture, Norman-Byzantine mosaics, and the Baroque, and to come along for the ride for the rest of the trip. It is, as they say, a tough job but someone’s got to do it.
